Who Are They: John and Ruth

The owners of the Willows Hotel where the Second Eric Sanderson stops midway between his trip along the East to West Trail. The hotel is somewhere on the outskirts of greater Manchester. "Aunty" Ruth is the wheelchair-bound owner, along with her husband John, of the hotel. She makes a mean ham sandwich and has copper hair.  Her husband John is quite the handiman.
